I am a qualified veterinary surgeon with 15 years experience, the last 9 of which have been working in referrals, seeing cases sent to be my other vets in the fields of internal medicine, cardiology and neurology. I am the author of two veterinary textbooks, Differential Diagnosis in Small Animal Medicine, and Breed Predispositions to Disease in Dogs and Cats, which is now in its second edition. I am a regular contributor to UK veterinary journals, and give frequent lectures to vets. I am a partner in a small animal practice in England. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a horse. I also have a strong interest in Ancient Roman history. In my spare time I play guitar and drums.
